1st XI Through to County Cup Semi-Final

St Bede’s 1st XI footballers produced a dogged display, in treacherous weather conditions, away in Chichester to reach the semi-finals of the Sussex County Cup.
An early strike from Jay Amin from a tight angle, put St Bede’s one up for most of the game, until Bourne College pegged them back with an equaliser midway through the second half.
The game looked destined to go into extra time and maybe even penalties, until Solly March scored just three minutes before the final whistle.

St Bede’s will meet either Hove Park or Tanbridge in the semi-final.
