Ceramics (Pottery) is a process that has been practised for thousands of years.

It is becoming very rare for Ceramics to be taught in a school. The current department has been creating with clay for over 25 years.

Ceramics at St Bede's School is taught by Mr A Hammond (Head of Ceramics) and Ms R Armitage. Both teachers have over 40 years of experience of creating objects out of clay.
