Aims

To play Jazz! But seriously, the Jazz Band is one of the most inclusive forms of music at St Bede's, since individuals who would not ordinarily play in the orchestra and other groupings that make music in the school have the opportunity to play together and make great music.

Description

Andrew Barclay was immensely excited that it has been possible to include the Jazz Band in Activity time - the first time he can recall this happening in his long association with the school. Having a whole two hour period, rather than a few snatched lunch hours will give musicians the opportunity to produce some fabulous music together and to prepare for various concerts throughout the year.
