Adam wins Badminton title

U13 SUSSEX JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIPS

Adam Lam, a St Bede’s Prep School pupil took part in the U13s Sussex Junior Badminton Championships at Postslade, Brighton at the weekend

Adam, 11, won this tournament last year and was favourite heading into the championship. During this tournament Adam won all his singles matches in the round robin format reaching the final, sadly loosing 21-18 in a close match.

In the Boys’ Doubles competition Adam was partnered with someone he had never played with before and did well to reach the final and eventually claimed the Boys’ Doubles Championship for the second year running.

Adam is currently training twice a week in Horsham at the England Badminton Performance Centre with England coach Tanya Woodward.
