After months of organisation and rehearsals, the BTEC class of 2010 produced an evening to remember for all those music fans present.

The BTEC concert of 2010 was designed to help a local charity. The evening was kicked off by a speech from Jane Taylor, a charity worker for The Sussex Multiple Sclerosis Treatment Centre who reminded everyone of the cause for which we were raising money.

Then it was down to the country trio lead by Miss Morris to begin the show. The country band played well-loved songs such as Come to My Window, and Travelling Soldier. The stage was set for the BTEC students to keep the tradition of providing a memorable night of music.

The BTECs set started of wonderfully with the youthful crowd greeting it with enthusiastic applause, the night of music consisted of a huge variety of numbers, ranging from songs by well respected and world famous stars such as Stevie Wonder to ones that many people don’t know

All in all, it was a wonderful display of splendid music that the crowd greeted with a great cheer. It was a marvellous evening’s entertainment and none of it would have been possible without the stupendous work and dedication of Mr Kavanagh, Mr Hilton, Mr Scamardella, Mr Barclay Miss Morris and Miss Von Riebech. But it was the students that will leave a legacy: Angus Bishop, Nik Carter, Georgie Collinson, Roz Lloyd-Bostock, Guy Hayward, George Brooks and Max Kahn. The concert will live long in the memory of all those who were there.
