Back to school for St Bede's parents

On Tuesday 7 October, St Bede's Prep School hosted a Maths Open Evening for their Year 7 parents. The evening was extremely well attended by parents and their children and gave them all the opportunity of using some grey matter to help the staff with some mathematical problems. Indeed, at one point, a group of parents helped ex-Headmaster, Christopher Pyemont, with multiplication sums using a grid method.

The evening also gave one of the pupils, Daniel Drewek, a chance to show his Ferrari Fantasy presentation and four pupils: Katie Dale, Annabel Martirossian, Christopher Pearce and Stephen Burchett an opportunity to talk to parents about their experiences in Maths. A good time was had by all and even our parents seemed to enjoy the experience of being back at school!
