Chinese New year
Chinese New Year 2011 is the Year of the Rabbit. This year Chinese New Year fell on the 3rd February and children in the reception class at St Bede’s Pre Prep were eager to learn and celebrate this timely tradition.
As part of their celebration the children visited a local Chinese restaurant to sample the delights of Chinese cuisine. Once back in the classroom the children decorated paper plates to create a beautiful and bright six metre dragon in order to perform their Chinese dragon dance.
