Cricket stars of the future

It's not every school that can boast a former Sussex captain as Director of Cricket and a current Sussex player as coach and if the truth be known, St Bede's can only make such a boast in the Spring Term when there are just a few short weeks that Ollie Rayner, Sussex all-rounder and former St Bede's student, is available to help out his mentor, St Bede's Director of Cricket, Alan Wells.

But the School was lucky enough to have Ollie on site in January to March, and to spread the luck around a little, organised a Cricket Masterclass for pupils from seven junior schools in the area.

Held at the Senior School, the budding cricketers had the chance to try out their bowling, batting and fielding skills, on Ollie and Alan and take part in a training session.
