Double Victory at St Andrew's Hockey Tournament
Pupils from St Bede’s Prep School had a fantastic day at St Andrew’s Hockey Tournament when the U11 and U10A girls both emerged the winners in their age groups!
The U10A girls played some good attacking hockey, stopping the ball well and passing quickly and accurately. The girls won five out of the six games that they played beating Claremont, St Andrew’s A and B teams, Hurstpierpoint, St Bede’s B and drawing with Burgess Hill.
The U11 girls also played a fantastic tournament beating Claremont, St Andrew’s and Moira House and drawing 2-2 with Hurstpeirpoint. The final against Burgess Hill was fantastic to watch as both teams fought extremely hard throughout. St Bede’s started the game 1-0 down but as the final whistle blow St Bede’s emerged victorious winning the final 2-1.
