Former Student Seb Rodgers wins World Championship Bronze

19 year old Seb Rodger, pictured second from the right, used to be a day student in Knights House until he left St Bede's two years ago.
He was recently selected for the World Junior Athletics Championships in Canada for the 4x400m relay team. They ran superbly in the semi final to make the final, beyond expectations, and then had a tough line up including Germans, Jamaicans, and the USA in the final. Seb ran his legs out and came in with a split of 47.02 to help the team secure a bronze medal.
Seb is mainly a decathlete but he has really excelled this year in the 400m.
