Fundraiser for Friston ward at DGH

St Bede's Prep School pupils sung their hearts out at their Christmas carol concert to raise money for the children's ward at the District General Hospital in Eastbourne. The St Bede's Prep School pupils raised £600 at the carol concert which was open to parents and members of the public.

Freddie Dutton,Katya Goodwin,Imogen Lark and Marcus Hinchon went along to the DGH this week to present ward manager Liz Vaughan with the cheque for £600. Before presenting the cheque the four St Bede's pupils were given the opportunity to decide amongst themselves where the money would be best put to good use. After a sensible discussion the four students decided that the money should go towards kitting out a new treatment room with a flat screen television and dvd!
