Girls' Cricket Tournament

St Bede’s Senior School hosted a Sussex Girls’ Cricket tournament on 22 November and although the final order perhaps demonstrated the ‘youth’ of girls’ cricket at the School, it was hailed as a great success, with all parents and friends very impressed by the facilities.

Eight teams competed in all, including St Bede’s U15s and U13s who faced some amazing bowlers and put up a determined fight to be placed 5th and 6th respectively.

The overall winners were Bells Yew Green from near Tunbridge Wells and the trophy was presented to them by former St Bede’s student and now Sussex cricketer, Oli Rayner.
