Golf challenge day
The sun shone for St Bede's Prep School Golf Club challenge last week (29th May) and the sun, coupled with guest of honour Ronnie Corbett ensured an excellent day was had by all.
The St Bede's Challenge was for teams of four and held at the Royal Eastbourne - a course that has stunning views stretching over to the sea and of course the Prep School, the only building on the southern side of the seafront.
Local businessmen John Russell-Murphy, William Hunt and Nicholas Feeney partnered Ronnie, after bidding for the privilege at St Bede's Valentine's Ball in February.
After the tournament players enjoyed dinner in the club house and an after dinner speech from Ronnie.
