Harvest Festival
Cans of food, pumpkins and vegetables were in abundance at St Bede's Prep School recently as the Pre Prep pupils celebrated Harvest Festival. The School's theatre was put to good use as the pupils parents, friends and relative were treated to an entertaining and informative Harvest Festival Assembly filled with poems, singing and dancing.
Donations of produce from St Bede's parents were given to Age Concern and a representative from Age Concern, Mr Clive Wormald was kind enough to attend the assembly and say a few words. The Assembly was concluded with the hymn ‘Thank you, Lord, for this New Day' during which a collection was taken for The Fair Trade Foundation raising £86.06.
