The dream is to become a Premiership referee and St Bede's student Jacob Miles is well on the way to fulfilling his dream. He has just been invited to act as Assistant Referee at the Independent Schools Football Association U15 Cup Final in March between Eton College and Manchester Grammar School and will be assisting Premiership ref Stuart Attwell who has just been appointed a FIFA ref.

Jacob began his referee career in 2004, is part of the Sussex Referee Academy and is qualified to assist at County League and ref County U18 Sunday matches. At the Academy Jacob is working towards his NVQ in refereeing and hopes to be qualified as a senior ref for County matches within two years.

Jacob is in his last year at the Senior School studying PE, Photography and Maths.
