Katherine is swimming and running her way to the top

St Bede's Prep school pupil Katherine Horsfall-Turner from Hadlow Down has been running and swimming her way to the top - achieving outstanding results in both cross-country and swimming.

Katherine gained the bronze medal at the Sussex cross-country in early February which qualified her to compete for Sussex last Saturday. She ran a fantastic race and was the second Sussex athlete to reach the finishing line, placing her 8th overall. Katherine's great performance helped Sussex to finish second out of five countries - a wonderful achievement!

At the same time the St Bede's Prep school pupil has been achieving outstanding results in swimming. At the County Swimming Championships held in Crawley recently, the U12 swimmer came in first place in the 800m Free, 400m Free, 200m Free and gained third place in the 100m Free and 200m IM.
