Life as a dance student

My years as a member of Legat have been two of the most enjoyable, productive and successful years of my life. The last year has passed so quickly it is unbelievable.

I would like to thank Mrs Vincent-Smith for her commitment to the UVIth and for her constant encouragement. Also, Miss Stein, to whom I owe so much, Miss Blewer for her beautiful inspiration and for her brilliant example of passion for dance, and lastly Miss Goodhew for her extremely valued teaching and tireless efforts for our success.

This year I have applied for places at many prestigious dance schools; the process of attending interviews/panel auditions etc was both extremely daunting and exhilarating at the same time. I was successful in many of my auditions and after much deliberation I have chosen to study at the London Contemporary Dance School.

This is a phenomenal opportunity for me and I intend to grasp it with both hands. A few years ago I could only dream of such ‘routes’ and this is why I am so grateful to the Legat School and all of the staff. I wish the school all the best for the future and hope it brings the students as much enjoyment and success as it did me.
