Life is a Cabaret
The Cabaret concert was the most exhilarating conclusion to a hard-working term of rehearshing. My feet hardly left the stage as I performed in a wide vareity of groups, as well as a singing solo, which completed my night of eight different acts. I particularly enjoyed opening the show. Three fellow vocalists, and I, walked across the vast hall, in between candlelit tables, singing Life is a Cabaret, before going on stage to join the recently formed, high standard Jazz choir.
During the few moments when I had time to spectate, I was up and down out of my chair wanting to dance to the Salsa and Jazz band. I was amazed by the musicianship of the BTEC groups.
The muscians, and the ever enthusiastic Mr Barclay, managed to fill the huge main hall with energy and excitement. The audience were captivated with the mood, drinking, chatting and enjoying the eccentric programme.
