Maths evening for parents

Number lines, partitioning and chunking - some of the terms discussed and demonstrated at a Maths meeting held recently for parents of children in year 3-5. A number of activities were demonstrated to inform parents about how Maths is taught in these year groups. Everyone was invited to join in some practical activities and correct solutions were rewarded with edible treats!
