More medals for Lam Family

St Bede’s pupils Amber and Adam Lam win again.

Both of the Lam siblings attended the TWBL Junior Open Badminton Tournament at Sevenoaks recently.

Adam entered the U13 Boys’ event with a partner from Buckinghamshire and they won all the games in their group stages, claiming gold in the doubles U13 section. Individually Adam ended up playing his doubles partner in the final and managed to beat him 21-19, 21-18 in a close match.

Amber also entered the doubles with a partner from Buckinghamshire and claimed gold in the U15 Girls Doubles category winning in the final 15-6, 15-11.
