Holywell Mount - Our New Home

In February 2010 both the Nursery and Pre-Prep moved to Holywell Mount, a beautiful Victorian villa with wonderful sea views.

Holywell Mount is part of the campus but situated in its own garden slightly away from the main school buildings. It has been completely refurbished to meet the needs of the youngest children in the St Bede’s family and provides light and airy classrooms overlooking the sea and the ‘outdoor classroom’, as well as a dedicated Pre-Prep library.

Children can join St Bede’s Nursery from age 2, and the baby unit for babies over 3 months is now open.

The Children enjoy a careful balance of free play and more directed activities. They begin to develop literacy and numeracy skills as they work with their class teachers, while specialist teachers take the children for music, dance, swimming and optional tennis and French.
