Peace poster competition

The Mayor and Mayoress of Eastbourne Cllr and Mrs Greg Szanto along with the President of the Lions International Club Nigel Windibank, recently visited St Bede’s Prep School to Judge the Lions International Peace Poster competition.

Each year, Lions clubs around the world sponsor the Lions International Peace Poster Contest in local schools and youth groups. This contest encourages young people worldwide to artistically express their visions of peace.

Wowing the judges with an eye catching piece and taking home the winning place was year seven pupil Freja Drewek. All winning posters including Freja’s will be displayed in Eastbourne Library.
