I am delighted to introduce to you our School.

What makes St Bede’s special goes far beyond its fantastic seaside location and superb facilities. So many visitors comment on the atmosphere of the school, the happiness of the children and the sense of purpose and achievement about the place. It is the can-do attitude, the flexibility, the delight in diversity and the sense of valuing all talents, which makes St Bede’s feel distinctly different.

In a world full of assessment, our children achieve results thanks to experiencing things for themselves, working as a team and exposure to challenge, rather than being taught to the test. This equips them to cope with the unexpected; with questions being asked differently from normal or with problems never previously encountered and learning is properly embedded rather than quickly being forgotten. At St Bede’s, children learn key life skills to equip them for the world beyond school and it is the development of our key product, our children, that makes us proudest of all.
