Boys' Hockey
The season is short but intense with training sessions at least 3 times a week, but nevertheless enjoyed by the boys during the Spring term. Matches take place almost every Wednesday and Saturday.

Girls' Hockey
St Bede’s enjoys an excellent reputation for girls hockey. All age groups from Year 5 upwards play hockey twice a week in the Autumn Term and once a week in the Spring Term.

Years 3 & 4 have one hockey lesson a week, also in the Spring Term.

Years 5, 6, 7 & 8 all enter at least one tournament a year. The U11's enter the prestigious Clifton Tournament in October and go on tour to All Hallows School in Somerset alternate years. The U13s enter the Sussex 7s at East Grinstead where they won the Cup two years ago and were finalists last year.

Three years running they have reached the Sussex Cup knock out finals at Ardingly.

Two years ago the U12 & U13 hockey teams went to South Africa on a very successful tour.
