Saffron Dowse

Seven year old St Bede’s Prep School pupil Saffron Dowse has qualified through to the Lawn Tennis Association National Training Camps in London. These camps, which will run over the next six months, are designed to bring out the talent of the best tennis players in the country and Saffron is delighted to have been spotted!

After a successful summer of winning tournaments, Saffron qualified through to the Masters Event, for the overall best eight tennis players in Sussex. The St Bede’s pupil then proceeded to take the Under 8 Packaging Masters Trophy with great ease!

Following her success, Saffron was invited to a talent ID day for Sussex where she was selected to progress to regional level and since then she has joined a South of England squad, with training camps booked throughout this winter. A bright start for a future star.
