Teams: Boys’ U19; Girls’ U19; Boys’ U16

Fixtures: Boys’ U19 compete in the Eastbourne and District Adults’ League
Regular fixtures for all teams with schools in Sussex/Surrey/Kent
St Bede’s supports and funds tournament entry for our players

Current Players:

Philip Fenner is the current Sussex U17 no.1
Sam Huggett is a top Sussex U17 girl who recently won a county tournament
Aaron Lam turned down a place to represent Sussex U16 to concentrate on national badminton tournaments
Other excellent players complete a very strong school team

Training: Badminton teams train 3 times a week in concentrated sessions

As a junior Chris Dixon represented both Somerset and the South-West of England at badminton. In 1987 he won the National Prep Schools’ Singles title. He was Captain of Badminton at Millfield School, and won his Cambridge University Badminton ‘Blue’, representing the University against Oxford.
