Former Students

David Brown (on left) attended the Senior School from 1988-1993. He was awarded an Upper Second in Environmental Health at King's College, London, a choice inspired when he attended a careers talk here. He has worked as an Environmental Health Officer for Ealing Council, who sponsored him throughout his course, Wealden District Council, Tunbridge Wells Borough Council and is now with Medway. He specialises in Food Hygiene and Health and Safety issues.

Dr Andrew Brown (centre) started at the Prep School in 1988, before attending the Senior school from 1990-1995. After his A levels he went to Reading University where he gained a First in Biochemistry. This was followed by a Masters in Research from York, and a Doctorate from Lancaster. He then trained at Manchester Royal Infirmary, gaining a Masters in Clinical Biochemistry. He now works at Blackpool Victoria Hospital as a Pre-registration Clinical Scientist, specialising in the analysis and interpretation of body fluids to aid diagnosis, and to monitor treatment for a wide range of patients.

Anthony Brown (on right) went right through both the Prep and the Senior Schools between 1990 and 2001. After his A levels he read Biology at Imperial College, London, gaining a 2:1. After two years with the Kennedy Institute for Rheumatology, he moved to Oxford University’s Nuffield Department of Medicine. He is a research assistant in the Peter Medawar Centre for Pathogen Research, engaged in Hepatitis C research.
