Minotaur

The Lower 6th Performing Arts group have been asked to organise and manage the younger student’s production of The Minotaur. We are to create posters, programme, organise health and safety, design and sell the tickets, and design costumes, set, make-up and backstage on the night of the performance. We are to manage front of house, hospitality and marketing, organising all financial factors etc. To begin with, we have been reading the play, designing the posters and programmes and working closely with the cast to discuss their make-up themes; we each made an initial plan and a progressive plan of what we want to achieve by a certain date. We set ourselves lists of everything we need to complete, and arranged to have regular meetings to discuss what we’ve done in the previous week.

4th March
Designs were finalised for the make-up for the four Gods, and during the flexi period Karolina, Marie, Georgina and I applied the make-up and photographed the Gods for the marketing team to use for the programme, posters etc.
