A wide range of approaches is enouraged ranging from Graphic Design to Painting and Drawing. Traditional skills are encouraged, laying strong foundations for those who choose to opt to take the subject at 'A' Level.

Candidates have 2½ hours of lesson time each week. They may also extend their studies by taking advantage of the extensive Art Activity programme.
