Ski Trip

It’s incredible to believe that a year has past since our last ski trip, and again an intrepid group of St Bede’s ‘adorateurs de neige’ head for the slopes France, but this time to Risoul. Our journey out to resort was uneventful and before long we were settled into our quaint little hotel, nestled into the idyllic surroundings of La Foret Blanche mountain range. We were welcomed on arrival by an evening meal, although it did not come as a surprise to us that there was a shortage of salt for the snow covered roads of the UK judging by the amount that was used to season dishes! After skis and boots had been fitted and salopettes laid out, 21 excited children eagerly awaited some of the best skiing conditions and pistes in the French Alps.
The children progressed well and we saw some of the best skiing on any of the previous ski trips.
