Solomon Signs for Brighton
Championship side Brighton & Hove Albion have signed U6th student Solomon March from under the noses of a host of both Premiership and Championship clubs.
Solly who has been part of the St Bede’s First Xl for the past three years has impressed on a regular basis over the past few seasons and finally has secured a three year deal starting immediately. Solly will continue with his education one day a week here at St Bede’s to complete his BTEC Sport course.
Director of football at Brighton Martin Hinshelwood said: 'It got to the stage where a few other clubs became very keen on him so we've completed the deal. He's a left-sided player who has good feet and a very good delivery,'
St Bede's Coach David Leggett said; 'All of us here at St Bede’s wish him well in his career and will be following his progress closely over the coming months. Solomon has served the school fantastically well over last few years and it has been a pleasure watching him develop and grow as a player and the first team will miss his influence.'
