St Bede's Staff run a marathon

What is the best way to relax on the day before a new term? For six members of the St Bede’s staff the answer was obvious: run a marathon.

The magnificent six were amongst around 7,500 runners in the inaugural Brighton Marathon. Mr David King was the first St Bede’s runner to finish (in four hours and four minutes), but all of them completed the course in under five hours.

Between them they raised over £5,000 for a range of charities including Rockinghorse (Sick children in Sussex), Teenage Cancer Trust, Cancer Research, Quicken Trust and Passington ( Schools in Africa)
