St Bede's Swimmers Have an Outstanding Summer
Over the summer St Bede’s swimmers have been busy at a number of competitions.
National Youth Championships – Sheffield.
Even though we only had a few swimmers in the event, they all did an outstanding job.
Stef Ketley had a very busy week swimming in six events plus making two Semi-Finals in the 200 Back and 200 Free, She also swam a number of best times throughout the week.
Tom Lamb swam in three events and did best times in all three swims, 200 Back, 200Fly, 400IM,
Andrew Horsfall-Turner swum in his first ever nationals in the 800 Free
Welsh National Age Groups – Swansea
At these nationals St. Bede’s set one meet record and came away with a number of gold medals and lifetime best times.
Will Condrom set a meet record in the 200 IM and took three Golds in the 200IM, 400Free and 100 Free.
Kathrine Horsfall-Turner took Gold in the 1500 Free, this was also a best time. She added a Bronze in the 800 Free.
Andrew Horsfall-Turner did an outstanding job after finishing the British Championships and resetting his goals. He took three Golds, 400Free, 200Back, 400IM out of five events.

This has been an outstanding season for St. Bede’s Swimmers, with excellent results in all 4 events

In the points table St.Bede’s are well up in the top two leading the Southeast Grand Prix Series with Dover and Portsmouth meetings still to go.
