St Bede’s Swimmers Success In Swansea!

Five of the St Bede’s swimming squad gave up their Easter to journey to Wales for the Welsh Age Group and Youth Championships; held at the Welsh National Pool in Swansea it was a superb venue, inspiring the swimmers to give their very best performances.
In the Youth Championships Michael Faber and Stephanie Ketley were able to test themselves against some of the swimmers they would come up against at the ASA National Championships later this year in Sheffield. With heats in the morning and finals held later in the day it was ideal preparation, testing the swimmers ability to recover from a heat and then swim faster in the final.
After some really exciting swimming with personal bests being achieved with nearly every swim, all five swimmers came away with medals as follows:
