Sussex Schools Championships 2011

St Bede’s School stole the show at this year’s Sussex Schools Championships. Taking place this year at Hampden Park Tennis Club and David Lloyd, Eastbourne a total of 310 young tennis players from schools all over Sussex took part and played over four days during May.

The standard of play was impressive and St Bede’s Prep and Senior School pupils wowed the crowds with their talent. In Year 4 St Bede's boys took the title and St Bede's girls did the same. In the Year 5 events St Bede's won the boys and in Year 6 St Bede’s won the girls event. In the Year 9/10 group St Bede's boys were champions and finally taking the title of Year 12 girls winners were St Bede's.
