Activities
The course includes a full programme activities, sports and social events every evening so that after a hard day studying, students can enjoy themselves while at the same time, continue hearing and speaking English.
- Sometimes students choose an activity, sometimes there are whole-school events and sometimes the staff make teams to mix the students up and encourage them to meet new people.
- Some activities may be off-site (such as cinema trip, bowling, Brighton Pier or laser quest).
- Students must participate in evening activities as they are part of the programme.
- All activities are supervised by St Bede's staff with the recommended staff:student ratios.
- Evening activities may include: Blind Date, Bowling, Brighton Pier, Cinema Trip, Disco, Karaoke Night, Nationality Night, Sports Choices (tennis, football), St Bede's got talent, Swimming Gala, Who wants to be a millionaire?
Excursions
Excursions, which take place on Saturdays and Sundays, offer students the opportunity to visit places of cultural and historical interest, as well as the chance for sight-seeing and shopping.
