Excursions

Excursions, which take place on Wednesdays and Sundays, offer students the opportunity to visit places of cultural and historical interest, as well as the chance for sight-seeing and shopping.

• Wednesday excursions are a full day and usually include a cultural or historical visit, followed by some sight seeing or free time.

• Sunday excursions are a half-day and are usually more relaxing trips to local seaside towns where students can do some shopping, go to the beach, go to a café or park.

• Here are some of our past visits and trips: British Museum, Buckingham Palace, Chatham Historic Dockyard, Chessington World of Adventures, Dicken’s World, Imperial War Museum, Leeds Castle, London Aquarium, London Dungeon, London Eye, London Transport Museum, London Zoo, Madam Tussauds, National Gallery, Natural History Museum, River Cruise, Science Museum, St Paul’s Cathedral, The Tate Modern Gallery, The Tower of London, Thorpe Park, West-End Musical, Westminster Abbey, Windsor Castle & Eton.
