Discover London

Discover London is based at the reputable Regent’s College which offers year-round undergraduate and post-graduate degree courses. Its central location, in the heart of London’s Regent’s Park, means that we can offer our students a safe and secure setting in which to live and study in London but at the same time, give them the opportunity to spend lots of time in the capital, which is just a few minutes away.

Students

This is an exclusive programme with up to 50 students per week from different countries.

Accommodation

Student bedrooms have 2 or 3 beds are are located in a large shared boarding house (male & female) on campus. There are separate toilet and bathroom facilities for male and female students and the Boarding House reception is manned 24 hrs a day.

Programme

Lessons take place in the mornings and afternoons and there is a full social programme (optional) of organised activities, events and trips in the evenings and at weekends in which students are encouraged to get involved.

Lessons

There are 25 hours of tuition per week and lessons include English Skills (8 hours per week), Language Workshops (5 hours per week) and Academic Lectures (12 hours per week).


Facilities

Facilities include a lounge, IT centre, fitness centre, refectory, bar/brasserie, tennis courts, table-tennis room and basketball courts.

Services

Free access to the IT centre for students to use the internet and access their emails.

Wi-fi is available at Regent's College. Note that students will need to bring their own laptops to access wi-fi.

Washing machines and driers are available for students to do their washing.

Every student is given a security pass to gain access to the buildings and boarding house.

There is a £12 daily meal allowance included for students to buy breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Care

St Bede’s staff live on-site to provide the necessary care and supervision. There is access to medical care if students are sick.
