Talented young dancer, Oliver Cooper was awarded a place to train with the Legat School of Dance at St Bede’s School, East Sussex. Oliver who started in year 9 in September is an aspiring dancer who has performed with the National Youth Ballet. David Airey, the Service Committee Chairman of Uckfield Lions said: ‘Uckfield Lions are pleased to have sponsored Oliver Cooper for a three year period with the Legat School of Dance at St Bede’s School’.
Through joining the Legat School of Dance Oliver is able to enjoy both the extensive dance training and have the benefits of the impressive St Bede’s School, with its marvellous facilities and extensive academic curriculum.
