Year 4 trip to the beach
A sunny morning on Holywell Beach was recently enjoyed by Year 4 pupils from St Bede’s Prep School. The visit was part of their geography project, The Seashore. The pupils were able to find out the level of high tide and they noted the different types of rubbish that wash up on the beach.
In the classroom the pupils have been studying the effects of pollution and rubbish in our seas. Both the children and adults were pleasantly surprised at the small amount of debris found on the beach.
