Year 5 Entertain Eastbourne

On Wednesday 8th December, Year 5 went to sing carols at the Arndale Centre and Homelea Residential Care Home. The carols at the Arndale Centre were in aid of the RNIB. The choir drew a crowd of listeners, who heard such seasonal gems as Little Donkey (complete with percussion), Away in a Manger, and Once in Royal David's City.
The children then went on to visit Homelea Residential Care Home, where more carols were sung, including a beautiful two part version of Silent Night and to end everything off, We Wish You a Merry Christmas. After singing at the care home the children all received a well earned drink and snack, as well as some very generous Christmas gifts. Year 5 sung very well and were a credit to the school.
