
Clubs and Activities
St Bede’s is a busy school and there is a wide range of extra curricular activities going on both in the afternoons and early evenings.
The children can choose their activities at the start of each term and stay in that activity throughout the term. Sometimes specialist teachers are required and a range of specialists come to school to boost our programme.
A selection of the large number of activities on offer are shown below. Please note that some activities are only available at certain times during the day.

There is a small surcharge for evening activities although supper is provided for these children.
Junior Years Activity Programme
We run a comprehensive activity programme for the children in the Junior Years.
Children in Years 3 and 4 can choose to remain after the end of the school day and join in these activities. Year 5 children have a longer school day and the activity programme is a part of the timetable.
The choice of activities on offer changes during the course of the year and the number of outdoor activities increases during the summer term to take advantage of the lighter evenings. During the summer term Year 5 pupils can also choose to join in the late evening activity programme.
