Sachin Tendulkar at St Bede's

Sachin Tendulkar, the world’s greatest living batsman, will be playing at St Bede’s Senior School in Upper Dicker on Friday, 27th June.Sachin is playing just three matches with the Lashings World XI this summer and St Bede’s was announced on Wednesday as one of those matches.
With 89 international centuries to his name, 151 international 50s, a Test average of 55.58 and a One Day Innings average of 44.34 Sachin is, unquestionably, the greatest batsman playing cricket today.
Aged 34 and born in Mumbai he plays for India, ACC Asian XI, Mumbai and Yorkshire.
Other members of the Lashings squad playing a St Bede’s Headmaster XI on 27th June include Richie Richardson, Devon Malcolm, Henry Olonga and Chris Harris.
A table for 10 for the pre match lunch with the players costs £500 and can be booked by contacting Marion Kemp on 01323-443820. Entry to the match costs £5 and gates open at 1.30 pm ant the match begins at 2.30 pm. There will be refreshments on sale, but picnickers are also welcome.
The match will be played on St Bede’s 1st XI wicket set in the heart of the Sussex countryside.
