Events
Outings to many local competitions as well as holding our own competitions open to the public as well as students. A large Equestrian Centre just 10 minutes drive away holds both Affiliated and Unaffiliated competitions throughout the year.
As of 2008 the local Pony Club will be holding rallies onsite throughout the year.
The yard is now an approved City and Guilds training and assessment centre for NVQ Level 1+2 Horse care and Riding. This means that from the age of 15+ students can chose to take this qualification.
Over the years we have encouraged students to compete as part of a team as well as individually. This has proved popular and we now have a team qualified for the National Inter-Schools Championship in Oct ’07.
Notable achievements: Louis Simmons, Pony of the Year finalist 2007
