St Bede's Eastbourne centre is set high on the cliff-top with magnificent views over the whole bay of Eastbourne, in close proximity to the spectacular South Downs and within walking distance of the beach. Founded in 1895, this compact centre - ideal for youngsters - has been developed over the years and now includes an indoor swimming pool, large sports hall with climbing wall, new dance studio and playing fields. This centre creates the feeling of a family home, providing a safe, caring and happy environment for our young students.
St Bede's Dicker centre is situated in the rural village of Upper Dicker in the heart of the magnificent Sussex countryside and close to the coastal resort of Eastbourne. The centre is based on a former country estate with grounds extending over 80 acres, whose buildings form the core of teaching, activities and accommodation for both the year-round school and the summer school. The centre boasts a unique, domestic feel, forming a home from home for students, creating a real sense of community and freedom. The school has fantastic sporting facilities including six tennis courts, a small golf course, horse-riding stables, a large swimming pool, basketball courts, squash courts, dance and drama studios, extensive playing fields and an astro-turf pitch.
St Bede's Lancing centre proudly stands high on a hill with stunning views overlooking the coastal resort of Brighton, a few miles away. Lancing College was founded in 1848 and built round two quadrangles in a similar style to the famous Oxford and Cambridge university colleges. The famous Gothic chapel sits at the forefront of the campus, creating a magical and mysterious aura and is a visitor attraction of national importance. The compact layout of this campus creates a healthy and stimulating summer school environment in which students learn and play in a friendly and harmonious community. This centre boasts excellent facilities including a swimming pool, squash courts, tennis courts, large sports hall, football and cricket pitches and a state-of-the-art drama studio
St Bede's Vinehall centre is situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty just outside the village of Robertsbridge which is located between Battle and Rye. The centre is housed in a traditional country house constructed in 1830 which boasts many modern facilities such as a golf course, adventure playground, indoor sports hall, theatre, extensive playing fields and swimming pool. The site which is surrounded by stunning countryside extends over 47 acres and this combined with its secluded, safe location make it the ideal place for younger students.
